This is something I’ve given quite a bit of thought to, as one does. My second Colony Mars book is nearing completion and I’m now pondering the third in the series. Things have progressed and how a colony, on a far flung planet, would govern themselves is intriguing. Notwithstanding the fact that Earth or some state or corporation may lay claim to it and impose their own laws.
As I said on the cover of Colony One Mars, ‘The only law on Mars is your own.’
Time will tell.
